When Coca-Cola wanted to celebrate their sponsorship of the monumental 2026 FIFA World Cup, they tapped Tactic for our unmatched expertise in Augmented Reality. We designed and developed two highly immersive, real-time AR experiences to captivate crowds at Universal Theme Park's bustling "City Walk" kiosks, blending cutting-edge technology with the global thrill of soccer.In the interactive "Free Kick" AR challenge, fans transform the physical space around them into a virtual pitch. Users place a digital goal, defended by an agile Coca-Cola bottle goalie, and swipe to bend the perfect shot, recording and comparing their high scores with fellow players. The excitement continues with a vibrant AR Selfie activation. Using the front-facing camera, fans can deck themselves out in customizable, team-oriented face paint alongside exclusive Coca-Cola and FIFA-themed hats. By creating these highly shareable, joy-filled moments, Tactic delivered a delightfully fun brand activation that put fans directly in the game, amplifying Coca-Cola’s iconic partnership with the world's biggest sporting event.
